Much like printing a document or receipt, digital printing uses a computer to transfer your image directly to the barrel of the pen. The printer moves back and forth across the stationary barrel which only works well if the art is linear in nature.
Similar to full color digital, this method of printing allows for your design to be printed on a material that is then wrapped around the pens which makes it great option for large full color works.
A laser beam etches your design onto the pen’s surface which creates a permanent, raised mark. This method of printing is only available for metal pens, but it is eco-friendly and creates a polished look.
